Bringing Robotics into the Community

SEP 28, 2026

21–27 September 2026 · Calamvale Central, Queensland, Australia XROBOT spent a week at Calamvale Central, bringing robotics, AI, aerospace and hands-on engineering directly into the community. We connected with local families, students and educators, shared emerging technologies and our vision for the next generation of engineering, and received encouraging feedback from the community. The showcase also sparked new conversations with local schools about future collaboration and welcomed new students into the XROBOT community.

Bringing Robotics into the Community

XROBOT spent a week at Calamvale Central, bringing robotics, AI, aerospace and hands-on engineering out of the lab and into the local community.

Throughout the week, we met and spoke with local families, students, educators and community members, sharing not only our education programs, but also the technologies, engineering projects and ideas being developed at XROBOT.

For us, community engagement is about more than introducing robotics education. We want emerging technologies to be visible, accessible and inspiring — giving young people and families the opportunity to see where robotics, AI and engineering are heading, and how the next generation can become part of that future.

We were grateful to receive encouraging feedback from local families and educators, and several conversations with schools opened the door to potential future collaboration.

Most importantly, the week gave us the opportunity to listen — to understand what families, students and schools are looking for, while sharing XROBOT's vision for engineering the next generation.
